Gradient tool not responding On a simple backround,with alpha channel applied, I add gradient,and as soon as I apply it (most times it just gets stuck in the middle of the process with no gradient added) ,automatically gimp stops responding and I can't do anything. I'm currently trying to render the map using gradient mapping, however said mapping seems to come out very 'one-note', I imagine this is in part due to the gradient I created, but also the height map itself. A possibility could be that you already have an active gradient in your image and can't add a new one till the former is either confirmed or discarded. NET has a plugin for this, as well as gradient maps and a whole bunch of other stuff. Saving is simple as well, no need to open up the gradient editor anymore.
